A third-year architecture student project
With a huge land site in Saigon Zoo and Botanic Garden, it is not only home to over a hundred species but also an age-old part of the modern city's rich history. My prososal treats the library as massive public zone for the fostering of communal creativity and dissolves the separation between inside and nature.
As the library is situated within a densely populated city, the opportunity to bring green into a building with provide a unique experience for all visitors. Because of the light and open feel of the building, as the seasons change, the trees become a backdrop of color and light that will shine through the interior spaces.
